Clara Ko, Ph.D. - Psychologist
Dr. Ko is a pediatric psychologist who provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation services. She specializes in the evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD, Executive Functioning challenges, and Specific Learning Disorders.
Dr. Ko describes her approach to evaluations:
“My approach centers on the belief that each child possesses unique strengths and challenges, so I tailor each assessment to each child’s specific needs. To understand the whole child, I incorporate insights from multiple sources/perspectives when possible—including the child, parents/guardians, and educators—ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each child's developmental profile. Ultimately, my goal is to offer realistic and practical recommendations that foster each child's optimal growth and development.”
Dr. Ko also specializes in working with children with acute and chronic medical conditions. She has a particular interest and expertise in childhood cancer. Dr. Ko has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings (e.g., children’s hospitals, primary care, community) and across the treatment continuum including: the acute medical hospital, inpatient rehabilitation hospital, and outpatient specialty clinics.
